HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 (FULL
SEQUENCE) (2011)
Despite an avalanche of pre- release publicity and a YouTube trailer that
landed more than 10 million hits, the first
instalment of the Centipede series proved to
be something of a box office flop. But at least
it made it to screens. The same can’t be said
for the straight-to-DVD sequel, which was banned outright by the BBFC. The film tells
the story of a man who becomes sexually
obsessed with a DVD recording of the first
film and who imagines putting the ‘centipede’
idea into practice. Unsurprisingly the BBFC
weren’t impressed claiming that the film posed “a real, as opposed to a fanciful, risk
that harm is likely to be caused to potential
viewers
